The 2017 Annual Conference of IPHA took place in Madrid, Spain, from May 17 to 19. IPHA is the International Prestressed Hollowcore Association and is an Association dedicated to this special field of precast prestressed floors and walls. The conference in Madrid was the twenty-second annual conference in the history of the current formation of IPHA although its origins go back more than 40 years. This year BIBM and CPI Worldwide partnered the IPHA Annual Conference. The co-operation with BIBM provided the participants with far greater networking opportunities with people from the broader precast concrete sector and gave them access to an exhibition with sixty companies. This year, 64 delegates and 17 partners from 20 different countries participated at the conference.
