The industrial use of nanoproducts in construction has not yet begun, irrespective of the large number of local and international research-based publications on the subject. Processors have high hopes for the widespread use of Nano Carbon Tubes (NCT) to increase efficiency in the production of mortar and concrete, with many R&D projects primarily focusing on increasing the performance of sustainable blended cements. Improved economic benefits are therefore at the core of the topic, which relates to the question of the extent to which the early strength of concrete products made with blended cementitious binders can be decisively increased.
