Since its founding in 1998, the German company R&W Industrial Automation has established itself as a provider of customer-specific software solutions for machine controls and machine commissioning in various industry branches, including concrete block manufacture, chocolate production, foundry machines, pellet plants and others. An important milestone in the company's history came in 2001, when R&W began to develop its own measuring systems for quality assurance in the concrete block industry. The basis for this was Uwe Rahn's extensive knowledge as a software developer and commissioner of concrete block plants.
