With the C-Factory, a forward-looking industrial policy project for climate-friendly construction is being launched in the German Federal State of Saxony. At a press event held at the Cube in Dresden at the end of March 2026, and in the presence of Saxony’s State Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Protection, Dirk Panter, the project was officially inaugurated. The aim is to establish the world’s first carbon concrete plant for the fully automated production of CO2-storing carbon concrete components for building construction.
