For many decades, the Dutch company v.d. Bosch Beton has ranked among the established concrete product manufacturers in the Netherlands. Headquartered in Almelo, the company focuses in particular on high-quality, sustainable solutions for road construction, garden and landscape construction. The product portfolio includes concrete pavers, slabs, kerbs, grass pavers and other concrete products for public and private construction projects. With demand in the Netherlands also rising steadily for ready-to-lay layers of concrete pavers in different formations, for example herringbone patterns, v.d. Bosch Beton uses repositioning and cubing systems from Kalkman Machinebouw to produce paver packs with individual paver layers. The result is ready-to-lay paver packs that can be installed quickly and efficiently on site, layer by layer, using suitable machine technology. v.d. Bosch Beton operates two lines of this type: an offline system supplied with concrete pavers from storage, and an inline system integrated into the dry side of one of the concrete paver production lines. The following report focuses on the offline system.
