Cemwood GmbH from Magdeburg has developed a wood-hybrid concrete that can offset the carbon footprint of conventional cement-based binders. The targeted use of mineralised wood chips as an aggregate forms the basis for this. Particularly interesting – the process can be implemented in production without modifications or process changes.
