As the 2030 FIFA World Cup approaches, Morocco is experiencing unprecedented demand for precast concrete elements, driven by major infrastructure projects. SMM Socodam Davum, one of Morocco’s leading precast concrete manufacturers, has undertaken a comprehensive modernization of its two Adler A860 presses in collaboration with ALFI Technologies. The goal: restore original performance, increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and secure critical production capacity for the years ahead. This project demonstrates how an integrated approach – combining mechanical retrofit, automation, and AI platform deployment – can transform an aging installation into a competitive tool capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly expanding market.
