The new A.L. Patterson QuikliftTM 9 Ton Double Tee Anchor (patent pending) is designed for the lifting of precast concrete double tees and may be recessed to eliminate job site costs associated with strand lifters. Quiklift Double Tee Anchors (DTAs) are primarily used with double tees in parking structures but can also be used in bridge beams. The Quiklift DTA is designed utilizing 3⁄4” round bar with forged feet. The forged feet (similar to those found in lifting pin and utility anchors) ensure proper engagement of the anchor in concrete for high pullout resistance and minimizes interference with the prestressed strands. The round bar helps attain a more even engagement of the ring clutch to the anchor in all lifting directions. It is significantly better at achieving full bearing compared to the square bar anchors, where bearing on a corner of the bar will always occur.
