The San Francisco 49ers, one of the last NFL franchise’s to build a new stadium, finally broke ground on a their new stadium in Santa Clara, California, about 35 miles south of San Francisco. The precast contract for the stadium was awarded to West-Sacramento based Clark Pacific. “This is an important, highly visible project in the San Francisco Bay area with a very demanding schedule,” said Don Clark, who runs the company with his brother Robert Clark “The precast bidding process took almost two years, and once the project was awarded, we needed to get into production – fast,” continued Clark. Once the project was awarded, Clark Pacific contacted Hamilton Form Company, a veteran in the design and building of formwork for stadiums. “Hamilton Form has built formwork for most of the major stadium projects in North America over the past few decades,” said Marianne Methven, the form manufacturer’s Marketing Director, “that experience is invaluable when working on a fast-track project like this.”
