At a time when efficiencies are as paramount as quality, the Athens, Georgia facility of Hanson Pipe & Precast, turned to Advanced Concrete Technologies (ACT) to help design a mixing and batching plant solution that would greatly increase efficiencies in operations and quality of their SCC products, resulting in lower costs by maintaining output at a lower overhead. The Athens, Georgia facility produces wet cast utility structures using SCC.
