Scale-Tron announces the introduction of a High Pressure Washout system suitable for most types of concrete mixer. The company claims that the faster cleanup time gives up to 5% more productivity at no extra cost and pays back the investment in a few months. Its two or more European washout heads each have four powerful high pressure jets that rotate as well as turning, giving a 360º pattern that washes upward as well as downward to clean all surfaces. Offset installation of these heads eliminates the shadow behind the shafts in single and twin-shaft mixers, reportedly giving a clean mixer that needs very little manual cleanup.
