Hartzell Henry “Hank” Schmidgall, died peacefully in his sleep today at his home in Mediapolis, IA, at the age of 95. Schmidgall was the founder of Hawkeye Concrete Technologies, which he began in 1949 in Mediapolis, Iowa. A respected and innovative industry leader, Schmidgall was instrumental in developing new technology and equipment for the concrete pipe and precast concrete industry.
