As already reported in detail in BWI 1/2007, the Redsun company of Kevelaer has decided on a newly developed powder dosing plant by the Kimido company for the works extension and the planning of the two Masa production lines. The new stone production plant was put into operation in late autumn 2006 and has been working in two shifts since then. The advantages in terms of price and quality resulting from the new dosing equipment quickly convinced the management board and plant management at Redsun. A decision was taken as early as March 2007 to also convert the first production plant, which had been in operation since 2001, to the new Kimido technology. The second plant was installed in August 2007.
