Within the parameter of a master plan of the University of Cologne with an investment volume of 1.3 billion Euro the new building „Study Service Centre“ (SSC) is just before being finalized. With their application “Schuster architects“ from Düsseldorf won in 2004 the competition „construction Südhof“. For round about 40 million Euros on a ground plan of approx. 90 m x 80 m they developed a modern building with two different modes of façades.
