Based on the research report “Required plant equipment for a ready-mixed concrete plant, including ready-mixed concrete mixers and con- crete pumps for consistent manufacture, delivery and supply of ultrahigh performance concrete”[7], the significant investigation results are explained in a two-part publication (CPI, issue 6/2015 and issue 1/2016). The scientific foundations for qualitative evaluation of the manu- facturing process in both the concrete plant and, most especially, in the concrete mixer were set out in the first part of the publication. In this second part, the most important results of the research project are presented. Based on these, recommendations are given with respect to the minimum requirements for the design of a concrete plant, within the context of the manufacture of high-performance concrete.
