New universal specimen grinding machine for drill cores and concrete cylinders

For precise testing of the compressive strength of high-strength concretes, high-performance concretes and stone and rock specimens, plane-parallel grinding surfaces are an extremely important prerequisite. EN 12390-3 and EN 12504-1 set out the requirements for test specimens in terms of evenness; and for grinding end surfaces the requirements of EN 12390-1 must be met.
