Wagener & Polascheck has developed and patented the IDLA (the initials stand for “integrated seal and load transfer” in German) load transfer system for the precast industry. The system is designed for connecting DIN EN 1917 and DIN 4034-T1 manhole systems. Using a special press ring section, 3 load transfer elements, “3 Punkt Plus”, are driven precisely onto a manhole ring. A special sub-assembly collar, BS 2000, is employed to thrust in the built-in seal.
