The good economic situation in the Brazilian construction industry led to the organisers of the Concrete Show South America booking 2000 sq. metres of extra exhibition space. With the procurement of this new area, the trade fair now has over 19,000 sq. metres of exhibition space at its disposal, which is equivalent to a growth of 63 % compared to 2007. The organisers of what is now the largest event for concrete technology in South America had originally planned an expansion of only 42 %.
