Connecting precast securely

Connecting reinforced precast presents a special challenge in the development of precast inserts. Shear forces are transferred which act parallel or at right angles to the joint in a wall/support connection. A load-bearing wall connection must thus be capable of transferring forces individually or simultaneously in different effective directions. On top of this comes the demand for simple, uncomplicated assembly (e.g. a wall between two columns) since the time factor plays an everincreasing role on the construction site.
