The International Concrete Conference and Exhibition ICCX in Sun City, ICCX SC 2008, will be held from 19 - 21 February 2008 in Africa’s “Kingdom of Pleasure” north of Johannesburg in South Africa. The technical programme of ICCX SC 2008 has now been finalized, featuring various themes on concrete technology, concrete manufacture and application of concrete and concrete products. A technical course on the design of precast concrete frame buildings, aimed at architects and engineers, precedes the conference on Monday, 18 February. For the parallel trade fair, more than 70 of the leading national and international service providers for the concrete industry are expected. A site visit to Africa’s biggest precast yard, established for the Gautrain project in Johannesburg, on February 21, as well as a truly African social program, including game drive and bush dinner, round of the agenda.
