Precast Industry in New Zealand

Although New Zealand has a land mass similar in size to mainland UK, it has a small population of only four million people (40 million sheep). Of the four million population approximately half live in the Greater Auckland area in the top half of the North Island. With such a spread of population over a large area, a precast industry has evolved with approximately one hundred precast plants spread throughout the country, most producing a wide variety of products.
