As from 1 January 2007, Alessio Rimoldi is nominated Secretary General of BIBM, replacing in this function Eddy Dano, who ran the association for the last 6 years. On 31 October, the BIBM Board officially appointed Mr. Rimoldi after a trial period of six months, as from the resignation of Mr. Dano during the BIBM General Assembly in June 2006.
