Hans Bauer takes early retirement

Hans's Bauer (60) resigned his position as Chairman of the Board of HeidelbergCement AG 31 January 2005 and is retiring. Bauer instigated the amicable early termination of his contract, which was intended to run until the end of 2007, disclosed the Heidelberg company.
