On 18 March 2005, in front of around 300 guests from politics, business and the community, the Bergbau- und Steinbruchs-Berufsgenossenschaft [Professional Association of Mining and Quarrying] presented the winners of the current health & safety at work award in the Karlsruhe concert hall. It was the eighth time that creative ideas in industrial safety and health protection have been recognised in this way.
