Spancrete drives building design and production standards in Kazakhstan

In late 2013, Spancrete met with Mr. Yerzhan Dair, owner of Direct Construction Service (DCS), located in the northwest city of Atyrau, Kazakhstan. Mr. Yerzhan Dair expressed his interest to build a brand new “greenfield” precast factory to service his own construction and development requirements. DCS acts as a developer/general contractor in northwest Kazakhstan, building residential and commercial buildings as well as specialty products for the oil and gas industry. Due to severe winters in Atyrau, DCS’s construction activities are adversely affected during the 4-6 months of challenging weather, significantly slowing construction. The solution in Mr. Dair’s mind was precast building materials.
