Production of thin-walled unreinforced elements out of UHPC

The following article describes the results of research and development carried out by Sistrom-company in the field of UHPC achieved with ordinary raw materials, but with the water cement ratio decreased down to 0.2. The aim of this article is to provide a theoretical foundation for the phenomenon of skyrocketing compressive strength of Sistrom-concrete that reaches 100 MPa within the first 24 hours of curation. After providing a theoretical analysis of this effect, the outstanding properties of Sistrom-concrete are exemplified with a number of implementations – unreinforced thin-walled products, including those made with flexible formwork.
