Monitoring concrete hardening processes reduce construction costs and time schedules

CMT International AB, 14141 Huddinge, Sweden

The importance of a controlled concrete hardening process is often neglected although this process is very important for the quality of the concrete. Calculation of the concrete’s strength in an old-fashioned ways with tables, hand calculations or test taking is still common practice, and the timing for the removal of molds is sometimes even based on beliefs, only. A more advanced way is to control and to record the process of the concrete’s strength development by using the ConReg system.
