Environmentally friendly reconditioning makes production boards usable for longer

Assyx is investing in a unique plant for the environmentally friendly reconditioning of production boards. Customers have their used boards delivered, the company removes damaged areas of the plastic coating and then seals them hermetically with polyurethane again. The boards recycled in this way are once again protected against the penetration of water and air and all other technical advantages are retained, such as high modulus of elasticity, excellent vibration transmission, flexibility and breaking strength. The usability is extended by many years – this brings clear economic advantages for the concrete block manufacturer and Assyx succeeds in taking a remarkable step towards a closed material cycle and a sustainable, environmentally friendly production board.
