Concrete is generally cooled by adding ice. Other methods of cooling its aggregates directly are often not effective enough. On a long-term basis, manufacturing ice in the desert for producing concrete makes no sense from an economic viewpoint. Lintec’s aim was to avoid manu- facturing ice and find an alternative way of cooling concrete.
