It is high time for India to look at construction in general and concrete in particular from a completely different perspective now. Technology wise Indians have innumerable new openings. They have developed expertise of carrying out big, even mammoth projects. The foremost reason for this is their reluctance to embrace and adopt newer technologies that have already made inroads in several other parts of the world. Indians traditionally are reluctant to change of any kind especial when it comes to huge investments. Some have fear of unfamiliar technologies while some are waiting others to experiment first, but if infrastructure companies and builders want to build world class structures rapidly at a reasonable cost, they have to adopt new methods.
