The Pre Engineered Structures society of India was set up by group of consultants from Hyderabad during last March 2013. It is specially set up for dissemination of knowledge about the new technologies of construction that are coming up in India, to all stake holders in the construction industry, viz., Developers, Builders, Architects, Structural Consultants, etc., The society objective is also to give information and help the Entrepreneurs, who want to set up the precast industries in the fields of Concrete, Steel, and composite buildings and guide them on the extent of scale of set up of Industry, costs involved there in, technical knowledge transfer, etc. As part of disseminating the knowledge transfer, a National Level Conference called PEPSCON 2014 (“Pre-Engineered and Pre Cast Concrete Structures”) was held in Hyderabad, India on April 4th and 5th 2014. Similar event was also held in March 2013.
