Construx-Weckenmann delivers a powerful, tailor-made formwork solution for the economical and flexible production of prestressed T-slabs for parking deck elements. The project was recently implemented successfully at a leading precast concrete manufacturer in Switzerland and demonstrates how modern formwork design combined with advanced prestressing expertise can enhance efficiency in precast concrete production. With the goal of significantly increasing production capacity while ensuring very high flexibility in geometry and volume, the customer chose an innovative system solution from Construx-Weckenmann. The result is a modular formwork system that replaces traditional prestressing beds – featuring self-stressing technology, variably adjustable formwork shapes, and a mobile central hydraulic unit for the demoulding process.
