An extremely impressive infrastructure project is currently being realised beneath the streets of Merano: a six-storey underground car park in the Küchelberg tunnel. The 170 m long main cavern, which is fully accessible via a tunnel and offers direct pedestrian access to the city centre, is a technical masterpiece.
