The N50 Ramspol–Ens is one of the thirty bottlenecks in the Netherlands that are being tackled urgently under the so-called fast-track approach ('spoedaanpak'). As part of this project the Ramspol Bridge is being increased in height and width. BV Lodewikus Voorgespannen Beton devised the unique LOD-H girder, for which an entirely new production line has been built, especially for this project. Hendriks precon from Veenendaal supplied the formwork and the stress bench.
