The legendary Fontainebleau in Miami has been making hotel history for over 50 years. The second Fontainebleau, which is currently under construction in Las Vegas, is intended to continue this tradition. Both the dimensions and the tight schedule for this new building are placing the highest demands on the concrete workers. The Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which is due to open in late 2009, is a 63-storey luxury hotel complex with a casino. It is being built on an approx. 100,000 m² site at the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip on Riviera Drive. The complete concrete construction is being implemented by Colasanti Specialty Services, one of the leading specialists in concrete construc tion in the USA.
