Ballut Blocks Ltd started as a family business way back in the early fifties. It was one of the first companies to be established in the Maltese building industry. Ballut Blocks Ltd is synonymous with the introduction of innovative systems both to the building and construction sectors on the Maltese Islands. It has spearheaded the transition from the production of concrete blocks to the manufacture of all types of precast products. The Company, which nowadays forms part of Ballut Blocks Group of Companies, offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of building construction products and services in Malta. It was the first company to introduce Nordimpianti machines to Malta way back in 1977 through its investment in two Slipform machines for the production of hollow core concrete panels. It always strived to introduce new sections including inverted double T beams and other concrete elements including the large 800 mm high hollow core slabs. The capital outlay in Nordimpianti Slipform technology has proved even more viable since this system is also capable of producing inverted T-beams.
