The professional group BIM in Precast Construction (Building Infor - mation Modelling) was established at a workshop on 18 May 2010 at SAA Software Engineering GmbH in Vienna, Austria after a preparatory period of around one year. The aim of the professional group is to rearrange the transmission of data between those involved in the construction in order to make it simpler and less prone to losses.
