Mobile mixers are being increasingly checked for overloading by the police – not infrequently right in front of the very gates of ready-mix concrete production facilities. In order to avoid fines for overloading, many ready-mix concrete manufacturers have resorted to loading their traditional mobile mixers with only 7 m3 - needless to say, at the expense of operating efficiency.
