During the 2009 General assembly, BIBM finalised its roadmap for the years to come. BIBM members agreed on the priorities for the European association: 1. Increase investments in construction activities providing market for precast concrete 2. Improving the financial, economic and regulatory environments for the precast concrete industry 3. Helping promoting and developing the precast concrete industry 4. Backing the recognition of precast concrete as sustainable solution for the built environment These issues are on one side dealt with in Brussels directly by the Secretariat. On the other side, the Secretariat also organises the coordination of similar issues at the national level when there are concrete market needs.
