When AmeriTex started production of their new pipe plant in 2009, in the middle of the economical crisis, with equipment from Schlosser- Pfeiffer that was never used in The States before, it looked like a huge risk for many in the industry. But the opposite was fact: Kevin M. Thompson, grown up in a family's pipe business in California, proved that the right concept led right from the beginning to one of the most successful development stories in the recent history of the American pipe industry.
