Summertime in 2007 discussions started between Etex and Abece AB about a new fully automatic, multiprofile, high speed production facility for production of concrete roof tiles. The specification also included multi profile production of trim products e.g. ridge tiles, half tiles and cloak verge tiles. Etex is one of the largest producers of concrete roof tiles in the world and is based in Belgium. Abece AB is one of the world leaders in concrete roof tile machinery and technology, based in Sweden. Abece, founded 1919, is private owned and has been in the concrete roof tile machine business for more than 50 years.
