Due to its performance, durability and formability, concrete can be used in many different ways and is therefore a popular building material with architects and civil engineers. In any case it has long since cast off its plain image and its appealing aesthetics are thus convincing an increasing number of building owners. However, there is still more potential in concrete: energy that can be used sustainably – if one is inventive.
