It is common knowledge in concrete production that the most challenging task is to achieve a well-homogenized concrete mix when blend- ing fillers, cement, water and additives. Thus proper mixing is the key factor in concrete production, and the right choice of a mixer is of cru- cial significance. Recently the market has been entered by Xentrix mixers, developed by the Simem company. According to the manufactur- ers the innovative design of these mixers drives them to be a perfect solution for concrete production. In 2012 a company based in the city of Samara “Novaya Perspectiva” plc purchased two planetary mixers Xentrix 2500. The article is giving an overview about their experiences.
