Precast concrete is linked to the most advanced techniques in construction and also to the most sustainable uses and processes. The future in construction will be intimately linked to industrialization and prefabrication. To visualise the future evolution of construction and prefab- rication it is necessary to know and understand its past history and how actual development has been reached.
