In 2007, Kevin M. Thompson, who had a lot of experience with the family’s pipe production business from California, USA and from a company that laid pipe, decided to build his own concrete pipe plant. After intensive studies, the location of the new plant AmeriTex Pipe & Products LLC became Seguin, Texas, right in between two of the fastest growing metropolitan areas of the US, San Antonio and Austin. In a first step, the plant should be up and running as fast as possible, with the potential to grow itself continuously later on.
