The 7th Street Bridge over the Trinity River in Fort Worth is believed to be the first precast network tied arch bridge. It utilizes stainless steel inclined hangers that crisscross through precast arches connected to precast/prestressed floor beams, topped with precast/prestressed deck panels. With several casting and construction challenges now overcome; this unique design combines aesthetics with speed of construction befitting the progressive attitude of this growing Texas community.
