Contec Australia is introducing 3D concrete printing to Western Australia not to replace missing labor, but to assist it. All the walls of their first two-story 3D printed house are already completed. Having purchased a robot from Dutch technology provider CyBe Construction, Contec aims to showcase the technique’s potential for speed, cost-efficiency, and sustainability. After their first project in Tapping, they plan to scale up quickly.
