Doha in Qatar has in this millennium been undergoing a dynamic development. With a growth in population from less than 400,000 people in the year 2000 to more than 1,800,000 inhabitants in 2013, it is one of the world’s fastest growing cities. Doha Precast Factory early fore- saw this new development and realized the underlying potential demand for establishing local production of concrete pipes for sewage and storm water, which at the time before 2009 had to be imported from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE.
