In the February, 2011 issue of CPI, Lafarge provided an introduction to “Working with Ductal® Ultra-High Performance Concrete” (UHPC). The last issue followed with an in-depth look at the various recommended equipment and production techniques required to successfully produce precast elements with UHPC. In this installment – Lafarge will explain the benefits of Ductal UHPC for structural precast elements and provide examples of successfully completed UHPC structural applications/projects. This article will also help precasters to learn about the potential opportunities that UHPC can provide by complimenting and expanding their current product offerings and developing new, innovative structural solutions for their customers.
