Mineral aggregates in Middle Pomerania have postglacial origins, appearing as both natural and gravelly sand. Documented deposits of these aggregates in the region amount to over 100 mil-lion tonnes. Around half of this [ 1 ] is made up of deposits where extraction can be carried out by hydro classification of the raw materials. With hydro classification of gravelly sand, single sized gravel and varying sized gravel are produced. The waste of this process is sieved out sand, or waste sand.
